An Academic Resource Center (ARC) is now available for students to help them improve academic success. A staff member has been hired to work with students in this center during and after the school day and can work with students in a variety of curricular areas. Students may be assigned to ARC by teachers during the school day to complete work missing from an absence or to get one-on-one help from a staff member. Administrators will assign students to before school, after school, or Saturday morning times. An administrator may assign students to for not attending an assigned lunch detention, not attending extra help time with a teacher, or for excessive tardies or truancies. Students that do not comply with attending ARC hours as a consequence may be subject to a suspension and parent meeting.
