As an integral part of the instructional program, the Lincoln High Library Media Center strives to provide a vibrant, inviting learning environment that promotes academic excellence by assisting the LHS learning community in becoming effective, critical and ethical users of information as we teach 21st century literacies, promote an enjoyment of reading, and foster the use of libraries as a part of lifelong learning.
We are currently under construction, renovating our library media center in three phases. Phase one is almost complete with phase two scheduled to begin in November of 2008 and the final phase to begin in June 2009. We hope to be open in our new layout and design in August of 2009.
