   Mr. Jim Rynearson was recognized for a Presidential Awards for Mathematics and Science Teaching Award the 2005-06 school year. Mr. Rynearson traveled to Washington D.C. during the spring of 2006 to meet with President Bush and visit our Nation's Capital.

  Mr. Rynearson was also named the President-Elect for the Nebraska Academies of Science. His tenure will include the 2006-07 school year.

  Ms. Jessie Carlson has been hired to teach Physical Science and GeoScience during the 2006-07 school year. She will be involved with 9th grade teaming and various administrative duties. Welcome Ms. Carlson.

  Mr. Steve Ferris is returning from a year sabbatical where he was involved with education in Mexico, botanical research at UNL and enjoying time to catch his wind for this year.
