| Q: | What hours is the media center open? |
| A: | Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. |
| Q: | How long may I have a book, magazine or video that I borrow? |
| A: | Books and sound books can be checked out for three weeks. Magazines and videos are limited and can only be checked out for one week. Reference books can only be checked out for overnight use with the library media specialist's permission. |
| Q: | Can materials be renewed? |
| A: | Yes. |
| Q | Where can I find actual newspaper clippings, pamphlets, pictures and brochures on various topics? |
| A: | The media center maintains vertical files with up-to-date information in these formats. They are stored next to the circulation desk. Please ask a library media specialist for assistance in retrieving these files. |
| Q: | What A/V equipment is available to students for school projects? |
| A: | Students may borrow a boombox, digital camera or a video camera (VHS) for school related projects. We also offer overnight checkout of the Alpha Smart keyboard for word processing projects. |
| Q: | Are there fines for materials not returned on time? |
| A: | Yes. Fines accrue at 5¢ per day. |
| Q: | Can I borrow books from other schools in the district? |
| A: | Yes. Contact your library media specialist for assistance. |
| Q: | Does the media center coordinate interlibrary loan with Lincoln City Libraries? |
| A: | No. You will need to visit the Lincoln City Libraries to borrow materials, however, you may access the Lincoln City Libraries online catalog in the LHS Media Center. |
